Be a Sport Thru Companionship that Can Endure
I’ll be clear, I’m not the kind of eligible single man, comfortably accustomed to being solo instead of living it up with friends. I’d bet nobody haven’t read me talk much on great dating and companionship. Go figure.
Datelessness is an unfortunate human characteristic and completely absent from my playbook. But, I’ll level with you, I was forced to end a worthwhile relationship that meant something to me but just would never last. Therefore you would say its been years since I was dating. I don’t hold the great expectations in relationships I used to enjoy.
Living free and single isn’t bad. It’s a given that I won’t lounge about, faithfully devowering Battlestar Galactica episodes off the torrents. The real cause of this bout of fresh break-up dating apathy? We’re not in high school, and most ladies I meet at work are taken.
My one-time college friend, Jim, who will never have dating boredom, informed me he’s now in a similar place. He linked me to the Great Expectations Dating service. I can’t argue with getting to know sophisticated singles with similar interests. Go figure, I put myself on a plan and signed up.
Keep it real, you wouldn’t feel down due to not having plans when ya haven’t called anyone. Just like our senior year soccer coach Paul Simms told me with a smile, “There’s other fish in the bowl, sonny.”
Sheer genius, right? Even so, the old man was a source of truth in a way nobody could understand. He meant well to everyone. The fun Dallas matchmaking service I joined might’ve short circuted the old man’s shiny bald head.
Through great expectations I mingled with some quality and appealing ladies that meet my eye. I truthfully had a blast with some indisputably well-situated men and women. Went home with a sweet farewell, in addition to the fact that I developed some professional relationships for my job. Very cool.
Take action. You won’t go wrong if you don’t try. Don’t sell yourself short, at least have great expectations for for your own good.
Frankly,
Josiah
