Don’t Junk Your Old Mobile

The ‘Health Protection Agency’ discloses the fact that over 65 million people in the UK use mobile phones. The phone system has been spreading rapidly with unbounded popularity. In the past destruction of mobile phones had no remedy, but presently technology has been invented recycling them to produce new handsets. Components like silver are easily reducible unlike the harmful effects produced by the component of cadmium.

These processes have evolved due to the efforts made by companies like “Envirofone“. The method involves extraction of silver and plastic from other components in a mobile and recycling them for a beneficial purpose.

Parts of a mobile like LCD screen, battery connector, integrated circuits; PCB’s, keyboards, microphone, speakers and other compositions are recycled and framed into useful new devices. The plastic on the outer shell is formulated to be refilled in moldings; this process is done with the power of heat generated from the process of incineration.

The above mentioned process helps to keep the planet waste-free. Times have changed and spare parts are no longer dumped into the junkyard, instead they are reused.

To prevent a mobile from any kind of damage during shipping, the mobile must be safely placed in a padded box. The mobile should also have the provision for chargers and batteries at the time of recycling.
