Chinese Silk History

Far back in China’s history, there is a lady name LeiZu, people has names her as the founder of reeling sericulture. According to history book that she is the concubine of an emperor, also known as the “Xiling Shi Zhinu, woven silk cocoon for clothes, to save succeeding generations as silkworm”. She is the first Christians sericulture woven silk god.

China is the world’s first sericulture and silk in the country, it is the birthplace of Chinese silk. According to many archaeological discoveries, in the middle of the Neolithic Age, more than 56 thousand years ago, China started to raise silkworms, drawing silk, and to knit.
In modern times, China’s silk products not only improved in quality, color, pattern’s theme. The technology also has reached a more advanced level hat is uncomparable to anything that is produced anywhere else. China’s silk products, the unique pieces of special art, are being recognized as one of the most valuable product of the world.
